Privacy Policy

The short version: PETFED stores the data you enter (your account, your pets, feeding logs, weights, photos) so the service works — and nothing more. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no selling data. Essential cookies only.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for data processing on petfed.net and app.petfed.net is:

2. What data we process, and why
Account data
When you create an account: your name, email address, and a password hash — or, if you use “Sign in with Google”, your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google. We use this to operate your account (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract). We never see or store your Google password; passwords for email accounts are stored only as salted hashes.
Pet and feeding data
Pet profiles (name, breed, photo), food items, feeding entries (amount, time, who fed), weight entries, and meal schedules. This is the product — it is stored so you and the people you invite to a pet profile can see it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Feeding and weight entries are attributed to the account that created them and are visible to all members of that pet's profile.
Invitations
When you invite someone, we store the invited email address and send a one-time invite email. Invites expire after 14 days (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Technical data
Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and provide security. We keep minimal operational logs for debugging (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in running a secure service). We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage — no consent is required for these, and there is nothing to opt out of because there is no tracking:

If you use “Sign in with Google”, Google sets cookies on its own domains during the sign-in flow under Google's privacy policy.
4. Who processes data on our behalf
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA / global network) — hosting, database, file storage, and email delivery. Our primary database is located in the EU. Transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — only if you choose “Sign in with Google”.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
5. How long we keep data
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Photos you replace are deleted; pets you delete are removed together with their logs, photos, and invites. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at petfed@ananta-studio.com — we will complete deletion within 30 days. Note that feeding/weight entries you created on someone else's pet profile belong to that profile and are anonymized rather than deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us at petfed@ananta-studio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Germany, the data protection authority of your federal state.
7. Changes
If we change this policy (for example, when adding new features), we will update this page and adjust the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
